I used to not think mental health was something I even had to consider taking care of.
I thought, if I just do all the things:
If I just did all these things, stayed focused on helping other people, and hustled my way through it, that a well-balanced, happy, healthy life was mine to be had.
Man was I wrong!
My body had some healing to do (trauma from childhood sexual abuse). C-PTSD.
My brain didn’t want to yet and was scared, and didn’t want to become aware.
When I listened to my body, and believed my traumatic memories (which are different than other memories), my symptoms would improve.
When I rejected it and tried to ignore it, my symptoms got worse.
Symptoms I experienced included:
I was compelled to go through a crash course in:
I thought something was wrong with me. I was just weak.
The truth was: something happened to me, and injured me in a way that wasn’t visible to people.
I had some traumatic wounds that needed attention and needed healing, otherwise they would fester and, yes, it would have ended in me dying (I am not being overly dramatic).
Turns out mental health is a really important part of a human life. You can’t just ignore it.
Luckily, I was able to access many different forms of care.
I learned so much through all of this.
Have I healed completely from my C-PTSD? No.
But I’ve passed through the lion’s share.
I healed a lot from all of the many kinds of therapists I worked with (years).
The books. The hands on work. The experimenting.
I hit a ceiling with therapy and my porn habit was still an unwanted issue.
Enter coaching.
Then coach training/certification.
Coaching added a whole new element that was missing in he equation.
Coaching combined with all my other experience? Powerful Combination!
Then I realized I have this vast, practical knowledge that can benefit other people.
I realized that my personal gifts allow me to help people in some powerful ways.
I began taking on clients as a Life Coach.
From dentist to life coach? Still feels crazy to part of me.
But the other part of me gets to see how I help people so impactfully now.
Almost 7 years of doing this full time! I’ve gotten really good at what I do.
My clients get amazing results.
I started out helping guys quit their unwanted porn habit. The guy you come to when nothing else has worked.
And we work it.
I also help guys with:
These tools and the process I use, can apply to so many things. Really, nothing is off the table in our coaching.
It works better when people bring their whole selves to the coaching process.
Whether you are healing wounds or just going to the brain-gym to maintain optimal brain health/strength/empowerment/growth, I can help you.
Healing can happen.
Brains can change.
Habits can change.
Everything you create and/or experience in your life starts in your brain and is affected by it.
The results you currently have are a result of where your brain is at.
The new results you want to create will depend on you opening your brain up in some new way.
When you learn about the science behind all this and some practical tools, and have someone supporting you/mentoring you/coaching you through it,
You can, on purpose, create a huge amount of change, and huge new results.
Why? Because the human brain is THE MOST POWERFUL TOOL ON THE PLANET EARTH.
Want to wield it more effectively than ever?
Let’s talk about what that could look like.
Even just the free consult call will be hugely impactful for you.
You’ll get to get clear on what you are actually wanting to address right now in your life, and where you are headed.
I usually offer some gems along the way.
Most of the gems will come from you accessing your brain and consciousness in a new, more skillful, more effective way.
I love this process.
I believe in it.
I love my clients.
If you are one of my next clients, I already love you and can’t wait to meet you.
